Quite the opposite. Expect to see a lot of new things from www.diamondchatforum.com shortly. In the mean time it does however seem that we do presently have a technical hitch that is affecting some members and is only allowing them to view the Rules & Announcements forums when they log in. If you visit www.diamondchatforum.com and then click the Forum link at the top of the page you should be able to access all forums. Then, any time you click to add a new topic / respond to a post you will be prompted to log in. We do understand this is not ideal, and thank you for bringing this to our attention. Please do rest assured that we will have this bug resolved just as soon as we can. |

Hello.
I'm new to this forum. Couple things I've found that I couldn't find covered in the rules:
1) The avatar seems to need to be a png file. Maybe I did something wrong, but I wasn't able to upload a jpg image.
2) I couldn't find anything in the rules specifically about the signature. (How many links, etc.)

Hi, and welcome to the Diamond Chat Forum. After logging in, you can click the "control panel" link in the Forums section. Here you can edit all your profile information , including your Avatar. If you are having issues with JPEG files, it may be that the file size is too large. You can convert it to PNG and this will make the file smaller. In regards to links in your signature, we do allow this as long as you provide and respond to users of this website with useful education content. The hyperlinks must also be Diamond or Jewelry related, so this means no links to Online Pharmacies. By helping others, it's a great way to promote your site by sharing your expertise if you are a Retailer. We ask that you not directly promote your site, but by helping and sharing useful information, our visitors and members will see that you are well informed and reputable and will be more inclined to visit your website.
