hi trublu,

well i think the best bet for you would be a diamond solitaire ring.that would give you choices in terms of not only the shape of the lone diamond but also its carat size and the metal to be used. Ideally platinum would be the best choice alongwith a round brilliant cut diamond.

Alternatively if you want to go for a 3 stone setting or cluster setting with both diamonds and gemstones in place, the price factor comes into play. A ring having only diamonds will be expensive than a ring having a mix of diamonds and gemstones.

well i think you should go for a 3 stone setting with round brilliant cut diamonds set in platinum.

Regards,

Bridal jewelry is a part of your wedding day ensemble that you will be able to wear and enjoy time and time again. Wedding rings made from white gold are also gaining popularity, it being very stylish-looking and exuding a very modern aura. Also, white gold goes well with other silver and platinum jewelry, as well as with most clothing fabric.

Best thing I can say is do some spying on "your soon to be" and see if she likes gemstones.  Ask her friends, make subtle comments, etc.  Everyone loves diamonds, but some people do love the look and style that gemstones can present.

The above site has goods aimed at the lower end of the market; there's nothing wrong with that, but I can't help thinking 'Caveat Emptor' (Buyer Beware) as I don't understand why a site that was genuinely covered by the Network Solutions "safe site" seal would have a button that does not verify the link...

I think that depends on the ring’s design and its overall aesthetic. But I’m generally all for incorporating gemstones into a wedding ring. Who says wedding rings have to be plain banded?

I don't think that extra stones would overshadow the beauty of any diamond wedding rings, but they may create a ring that is too flashy and detailed for daily wear.

Hey all,
Marriage is very important moment for every person and no one wants to miss any single chance. For this special purpose special preparations required. My friend (who is going to be married next month) asked me that which jewellery she should purchase so that she will look quite different at the function of her marriage. I suggested her to purchase gold and silver jewellery and I helped her in purchasing all these. She also purchased a diamond jewellery for her husband as surprise gift.
