Hi all,

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on this ring for my gf - i've done a lot of homework and I think the stone I've selected is promising. Would love opinions!

looking at this diamond:

to be set in this ring:

I've asked WF to provide a H&A which they are going to try and get me on Monday. As DS suggested, the people at WF are telling me it is a H&A but could not get the true WF designation because of the polish grade of Excellent instead of Ideal - something which will not be a concern, apparently.

any opinions on the diamond, the ring, etc?

thanks all

Congrats! Looks like it will be a beautiful ring My only concern is that it is not GIA certified. Do you know if they are willing to provide a GIA grading report with the purchase of your stone? I know some people are comfortable with other labs, but it's such a big purchase, I would want to know exactly what I'm getting. GIA has the strictest grading standards and the best reputation in the industry. If the jeweler won't send it to GIA, it might be worth it for you to pay a little extra and send it on your own. Small price to pay in the long run. Good luck with the purchase and the proposal!
